We have not followed any road map or secret recipe to do what we do. In my mind, what has made us successful in the on line world is having an awesome team behind me who lets me continue to throw things at the wall to see what works and what doesn’t.
Day to day, Dachshund Rescue South Florida is powered by multiple pages and platforms to help us do what we do. These are the teams, groups, and services that we have found that work best for us!
- Flipcause – DRSF’s website and accompanying donation platform are hosted through Flipcause. Their customer service is amazing and we are so glad we made the switch.
- PBWorks – DRSF does not run any specific shelter management software, but our back end is powered by a PBWorks Wiki, an online collaboration environment that we have run since day 1 that is the web based storehouse for all our veterinary, application, adoption and operations info.
- WuFoo – All our applications (adoption, foster, race entry, etc).
- HootSuite – One stop shop for managing all our social media accounts.
- GoGo Photo Contest – There is no place better to hold an online photo contest!
